Coletivo Beture brings together artists, curators, activists, and indigenous communities in Brazil. They use exhibitions, film, and other forms of creative engagement to raise awareness about the fusion of the traditional and the modern that characterizes life today for the Mẽbêngôkre (Kayapó) people of the Amazon rainforest.
Join the Center for Brazilian Studies to hear from two members of the collective and see some of their current film projects.
Speakers: Pat-i Kayapó and Simone Giovine
