Xiang Chi
History
Xiang Chi is a doctoral student of Chinese history at UCLA History Department. Xiang was awarded the Kawahara Fellowship Award in 2015 to study the Japanese language. Xiang's research project is “Adjustment and Transition: the Forestry of Northeast China (Manchuria) in the Late Imperial New Policies Era and the Early Republican Period (1906-1927),” which involves historical analysis of adjustments and transitions of forestry practices in Northeast China in the early twentieth century.
