Mr. Masaru "Vic" Murai

Masaru “Vic” Murai, graduated from UCLA Business School in 1962, chairs Japan Chapter of Anderson School Alumni Network. He spent three decades at IBM, plus seven years as founder/president of Japan’s Compaq KK, a company he was recruited to create. He served as a Governor of American Chamber of Commerce Tokyo and chairman of Foreign Information Industry. In retirement, Murai remains as busy as any full-time executive, serving as a board member or advisor to at least 20 different public and private start-up corporations. He is also the founder and executive advisor of TX Entrepreneur Partners, whose headquarter located in the middle of Tsukuba Express Line where majority of R&D centers of advanced technologies in Japan are concentrated.
