The 26th Japanese/Korean Linguistics Conference

The 26th Japanese/Korean Linguistics Conference (JK26) will take place at UCLA, from November 29 to December 1, 2018. This year’s JK will commemorate the recent passing of Professor Noriko Akatsuka, one of the original founders of the JK Conference.

JK26 will feature five invited presentations by the following distinguished scholars:
Min-Joo Kim (Texas Tech University)
Mary Shin Kim (University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa)
Haruo Kubozono (National Institute of Japanese Language and Linguistics, NINJAL)
Sotaro Kita (Univ. of Warwick, England)
Naomi McGloin (University of Wisconsin, Madison) for the Special Session on Prof. Akatsuka

UCLA faculty and students can receive a free admission ticket. To acquire one, please register on the Google site by November 21. 

Normal Registration Fees:

Pre-registration by November 21 (Wednesday): $80 (faculty), $20 (students) 

After Nov 21 (including on-site registration): $100 (faculty), $40 (students)
