The annual conference, hosted by the Emir of the State of Qatar, HRH Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, will once again be held in conjunction with the Doha Forum. Over three days we will discuss and develop innovative solutions to overcome the most pressing economic challenges facing the region and the political and security situations that must be confronted to move economic progress forward. This special event is expected to bring together 700 participants from 100 countries.

Since its inception, the joint conference has grown into an internationally recognized forum for foreign trade ministers, venture capitalists, financiers, and experts from all over the world. Participants' specializations range from economics to health and politics, and they bring their perspectives to pressing global policy issues, while simultaneously conducting private business and interchange.

The conference has been addressed by several distinguished keynote speakers, including former U.S. President Bill Clinton, former Secretary General of the Arab League Amr Moussa, former U.S. Mideast envoy Senator George Mitchell, and Nobel Peace Prize winner Tawakkol Karman.
