CERS offers a variety of funding opportunities to UCLA faculty and graduate students working on Europe and Russia:
- faculty grants for conferences, workshops, public lecture series, and short-term visiting scholars (Fall, Winter/Spring)
- graduate student grants and fellowships (click on links below for instructions and respective application links)
Project descriptions for faculty and graduate student funding must demonstrate how the project will advance knowledge of European or Russian societies, histories, or cultures. Priority is given to projects that focus on the 19th, 20th, and 21st centuries, new initiatives, and annual events in their first three years.

CERS does not offer FLAS fellowships for the study of any modern European languages, including Russian.
