At the event, they will introduce the UCLA campus to the benefits of coursework and degrees in the Humanities. The program includes an introduction from the Dean of Humanities, two faculty members discussing their research, and a Q&A panel with alumni, facilitated by the Dean. There is a reception to follow with representatives from on-campus Humanities clubs and opportunities to mingle with faculty, staff and students.
Program includes a raffle for free textbook giftcards, faculty books and everyone receives a free giveaway!

Dean David Schaberg: David Schaberg (BA, Stanford, 1986; PhD, Harvard, 1996) is Dean of Humanities and Professor in Asian Languages & Cultures at UCLA.
Professor Olga Kagan, Slavic, East European and Eurasian Langauges and Cultures: Olga Kagan is a professor in the UCLA Department of Slavic Languages and Literatures, director of the Title VI National Heritage Language Resource Center and the Center for World languages, UCLA.
Professor Helen Deustch, English: Helen Deutsch teaches and researches at the crossroads of eighteenth-century studies and disability studies, with particular emphases on questions of authorship, originality, and embodiment across a variety of genres.
