Stern, the director of Bard College's Center for the Study of Hate, about the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance's (IHRA) controversial definition of antisemitism, which has been adopted by many governments and universities. Stern, the lead drafter of the definition, discusses the background to the definition, how it was drafted, and why it is being misused.

Kenneth S. Stern is the director of the Center for the Study of Hate at Bard College in Annandale-on-Hudson, New York. An award-winning author and attorney, he was the American Jewish Committee's expert on antisemitism for twenty-five years, and also the lead drafter of the “IHRA Working Definition of Antisemitism." He is the author of The Conflict Over the Conflict: the Israel/Palestine Campus Debate (New Jewish Press/University of Toronto Press, 2020).
