LAI - Summer Field Graduate Research Small Grants 2020

LAI - Summer Field Graduate Research Small Grants 2020

Grants for UCLA Doctoral and Master's students conducting field research in Latin America.

The LAI is pleased to invite applications for Graduate Student Summer Research Small Grants of up to $2500. Considering the need for graduate support in these difficult times, the LAI is re-opening this call after postponing it a few weeks ago in response to the virus crisis.

Please note that the guidelines for this funding have been amended as follows:

  1. If summer travel is not safe, expenditure of awards can be delayed through Dec. 31, 2020. If travel is still not safe in the Fall, we will re-assess that deadline.
  2. We also invite proposals that do not involve international or domestic travel but do include a detailed research agenda and timeline for completion of the research.
