In 268 B.C., after uniting China, Emperor Shi Huangdi of the Qin Dynasty continued on a quest to conquer the surrounding countries. Viet Nam then was two small countries -- Au Viet and Lac Viet. Au Viet was in the North, reigned over by Thuc An Duong. Lac Viet was in the South, governed by the Hong Bang Dynasty (Hung Vuong). Both Lac Viet and Au Viet kings wanted to resist Emperor Shi Huangdi's conquest. However, the General of Au Viet and his son, with their own agenda, personal desires and ambition, created conflicts between Au Viet and Lac Viet. Princess My Nuong of Lac Viet became the victim of the conflicts. Princess My Nuong then met Chi Quan, a bold warrior. Both found out that someone has been trying to create conflicts between the two countries.
