1. Download the Cisco AnyConnect app from the App Store and open it.
2. Accept the User Agreement.
3. Connections should show “No Connections” next to it. Tap on Connections. Tap Add New VPN Connection.
4. In the Connection Editor screen, for description, you can type in “Intl Institute” or anything you’d like. For server address, type in "vpn.international.ucla.edu". Tap Done in the bottom-right.
5. It should bring you to the Advanced Preferences screen. Tap the arrow in the top-left to go to the main screen.
6. On the main screen, tap the slider next to “AnyConnect VPN” to connect.
7. Enter your VPN username and password. Tap Connect, and tap Accept on the popup. If you don't have your username or password, please contact the IT Help Desk at help@international.ucla.edu.
8. If there is a Connection request popup, tap OK to accept.
9. Congratulations! You should now be connected to the Institute’s VPN. You can turn off the VPN anytime by going to the Cisco app and tapping the AnyConnect VPN slider.
