Kaili Kong earned a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Shandong Jiaotong University in China and worked for five years in the construction industry before coming to UCLA Extension. After completing two quarters in the American Language Center’s Academic Intensive English Program, (AIEP) Kaili enrolled in the Construction Management Certificate Program at UCLA Extension. After completing the certificate in 2018, Kaili did Optional Practical Training (OPT), and worked for major project consultancy and construction companies in Los Angeles. After completing OPT, Kaili began another certificate program in Interior Design: Foundation Level at UCLA Extension. On Sep 30th, 2021 Kaili received her H1B working visa. Currently, she is working for a waterproofing/roofing subcontractor as a project engineer/ estimator.
Carolina Antonini completed the UCLA Extension Sustainability Certificate in November, 2019. She then worked as Director of Sustainability at Specright, a Specifications Data Management software company, to lead the platform's sustainability stream. Carolina is currently Vice President of Operations at Lettuce Grow (Los Angeles), a sustainable food company that is an initiative of the Farm Project. Prior to her pivot to sustainability, Carolina had extensive experience as a Supply Chain and Operations leader, including Manufacturing, Demand Planning, Project Management, Customer Care, and Physical Distribution. With a Production Engineering Masters, she started her career in Accenture, followed by a rich career at L’Oreal, working in France, Singapore, and Los Angeles. Carolina has also recently worked on End-to-End Supply Chain projects with key market leaders, such as Amazon.
Revekka Gershovich graduated from high school in Moscow, Russia and went on to earn a BS in Math-Economics from UC San Diego. After graduation, she realized that she needed to compliment her undergrad degree with more knowledge and skills in Data Science so she enrolled in a Data Science Certificate program at UCLA Extension as an F-1 student. In Fall 2021, Revekka was awarded a Laurel Hummel scholarship for international certificate students. Revekka plans to use her three-year STEM OPT to work as a research assistant in economics. Afterwards, she hopes to be accepted to a Ph.D. Economics program.
Arushi Garg received her UCLA Extension Film Producing Certificate in April 2021. She worked several internships before stepping into the independent film industry of Los Angeles where she has produced various music videos, shorts, commercials, as well as features. Born and raised in the cinema paradise of Mumbai, Arushi shadowed renowned directors and producers in Bollywood, working on features and series for major studios. At 22, she produced her first short film which secured a deal with Eros Now. Arushi has worked with popular musicians such as Macy Gray, AJ Mitchell, Becky G, Julia Micheals, as well as with brands such as Kohler. Arushi currently works with the VFX powerhouse DNEG (Los Angeles) in the Business Affairs department and in her free time, continues her passion for producing.
Instructors
Jillian Dunn teaches Marketing and Branding at UCLA Extension, and herself holds a Marketing Certificate from UCLA Extension. As an instructor, she is dedicated to sharing the wealth of her experience and supporting emerging talents. Jillian is a leading producer of high-performing global integrated marketing communications campaigns and events. She has held key roles and advisory positions at Viacom, Saatchi Art, Wasserman Media Group, Sony Pictures, Cesar Millan Foundation, Atlantic Council, Victor Private Jets, Fox Sports, and Citi Group.
Jillian is the founder of Fortune Favors the Bold Inc. — a boutique marketing and branding agency based in Los Angeles. She earned a B.S. from Boston University College of Communication, completed the Radcliffe Publishing Program at Harvard University.
Misha Kouzeh teaches courses on Strategic Social Impact, Global Business Practices in Sustainability, and Digital Marketing courses in the Department of Business, Management, and Legal Programs (BMLP) at UCLA Extension. She is also an alumna of the Sustainability Certificate and Marketing Certificate, both completed with Distinction.
Misha graduated from Wageningen University in the Netherlands with a Master of Science degree in Nutrition and Health and also obtained a Cum Laude Master of Science degree in Business Administration with a specialization in Marketing Management.
As a multilingual entrepreneur, TEDx speaker, consultant and Harvard-certified lecturer across three continents, Misha has worked with organizations such as Coca-Cola, Unilever, the United Nations' World Health Organization as well as Cal State Universities.
Misha is a Board Member at the non-profit organization Girls in Tech LA, official Climate Reality Leader trained by the Climate Reality Project and also serves as a mentor in UCLA One and the Women in Science Technology Engineering Mathematics (WISTEM) LA mentorship program, offered through LA Mayor Eric Garcetti’s office.
