Screen Auteur and Palme d'Or Winner Theo Angelopoulos Remembered in Retrospective at Hammer Museum in Los Angeles
The films of legendary Greek writer-director Theo Angelopoulos – whose “Eternity and a Day” won the Palme d'Or in Cannes in 1998 – are being screened at a two-month tribute in the Hammer Museum's Billy Wilder Theater near the UCLA campus in Westwood.

UCLA Equity, Diversity & Inclusion: Dutch Minister of Education, Culture and Science Hosted at UCLA
On September 9, 2022, Robbert Dijkgraaf, the Dutch Minister of Education, Culture and Science, visited the UCLA campus. This visit was part of the ongoing effort to strengthen collaborations between UCLA and Dutch universities, and co-sponsored by the Cotsen Institute of Archaeology at UCLA and the Center for European and Russian Studies (CERS). The Minister and his delegation were welcomed by UCLA Executive Vice Chancellor Darnell Hunt; Vice Chancellor of Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Anna Spain Bradley; and other campus leaders and faculty, including the Director of CERS, Laurie Kain Hart.
