Mary Sekayan is the Program Coordinator for the Herb Alpert School of Music Armenian Music Program. She oversees administrative efforts, community outreach initiatives, event management, and student engagement within the program. A
UCLA History alumna, Mary is currently pursuing her Master’s degree in Counseling and College Student Personnel at California Lutheran University School of Education. She has several years of experience in various levels of higher education, including outreach and registration, student onboarding, academic affairs, and personal support services. Additionally, she performs as a vocalist and dancer with the LA-based Armenian folk ensemble, Lernazang.
Mary is passionate about educational equity, student development, and the preservation of Armenian culture and musical heritage. She welcomes any inquiries related to the program.
