As part of the Batsheva Dance Company’s international 50th Anniversary Tour, the company will be performing at UCLA Royce Hall on Saturday, November 1 and Sunday, November 2.

Batsheva is Israel’s largest dance company and one of the foremost contemporary dance companies in the world. Its acclaimed artistic director, Ohad Naharin is known for cerebral and visceral works, said by the New York Times to feature “profoundly expressive movement vocabulary and thrilling theatricality.”  The New York Times also called Naharin “one of the most fascinating dancemakers on the planet."

For this jubilee tour, the company will be premiering a new work, “Sadeh 21”.

On Saturday, the performance begins at 8:00pm and will be followed by a reception.  On Sunday, the performance will start at 4:00pm.
