The Y&S Nazarian Center for Israel Studies offers the following grants and fellowships to UCLA undergraduate students and graduate students with an interest in the field of Israel Studies.
UCLA graduate student grants for $2,500-$7,500 are available to conduct research in Israel Studies during the academic year or the summer.
Applications are invited for this one-year fellowship for an outstanding UCLA graduate student with a scholarly interest in the field of Israel Studies. The fellowship carries an award amount of $8,000. Preference is given to first or second year Ph.D. students.
Applications are invited for this fellowship for UCLA undergraduate students. The fellowship is available for up to one year and carries an award amount of $500 per quarter. Preference is given to juniors and seniors.
UCLA undergraduate student research grants are available to conduct research in Israel Studies during the academic year or the summer.
Travel grants of up to $1,500 are available to UCLA postdoctoral fellows, graduate students and undergraduate students for: (1) presentation of conference papers focused on Israel Studies or (2) Israel-related projects that require limited, site-specific research (e.g., archival research). Grant funds may be used to cover airfare, accommodation/hotel costs, ground transportation costs and for conference registration fees.
