 About the Guest

Dr. Anders Persson is a political scientist and senior lecturer at Linnaeus University in Sweden. He specializes in Israeli-Palestinian relations and is the author of four books, most recently EU Diplomacy and the Israeli-Arab Conflict, 1967-2019 (Edinburgh University Press, 2020). Based exclusively on primary sources, the book traces the evolution of the EU’s policy towards the Arab-Israeli conflict over the past 50 years. Dr. Persson regularly appears as a commentator in Swedish media and writes for the Huffington Post, Ha'aretz, Al-Jazeera, EU Observer and Politico EU. He received a Ph.D. in political science from Lund University, Sweden.
