The Y&S Nazarian Center is pleased to collaborate with Brandeis' Crown Center for Middle East Studies on the September 10 half-day conference "Looking Forward, Looking Back: 100 Years of the Arab-Israeli Conflict."

The event is organized by Brandeis University's Crown Center for Middle East Studies and co-sponsored by the UCLA Y&S Nazarian Center for Israel Studies. Other co-sponsors include Tufts University's Fares Center for Eastern Mediterranean Studies, The University of Arizona's Center for Judaic Studies, and The American Interest.

The conference on the occasion of the 100 year anniversary of the Balfour Declaration will bring together top scholars and public figures to assess the past and discuss the future for both Israel and Palestine. The event will be held at Brandeis University's Massachusetts campus, but can be viewed by visiting this page the day of the conference.
