Join us for an interactive session with Wonda founder and CEO Arnaud Dressen, exploring how immersive and conversational AI technologies are democratizing how students can practice and learn in simulated digital environments. From virtual field trips for language learners to cultural formulation interview (CFI) training for psychiatrists, new digital simulation tools are empowering students and professionals to improve their human-to-human communication competencies effectively and at scale.

In this session, you will:

Discover latest case studies in conversational AI (language learning & nursing)

Experience an AI-powered conversational simulation and assessment first-hand

Learn about best practices to design your own simulation-based learning activity and integrate it into your existing curriculum

This session will also highlight UCLA’s ARC Hub (Augmented Reality & Culture Hub) and ongoing initiatives exploring how immersive technologies can transform language learning and cultural discovery. The session will conclude with an open discussion and audience Q&A.

Participants interested will have the opportunity to get access to Wonda following the workshop.

Students, faculty, and anyone interested in the future of immersive technology are warmly welcome.
