4:00 PM - 5:30 PM

Young Research Library, Special Collections Classroom (Level A, Basement)

UCLA Special Collections invites you to explore Korea-related materials held in its collections. The event will feature several recent acquisitions in pre-modern Korea (printed books, manuscripts, and illustrated codices from 15th century to the colonial period) as well as objects, archives, and materials from the Ho Young Ham papers collections. Mr. Ham (1868-1954) was among the first Korean immigrants to the United States. He led a professional life as sugar plantation employee and a Korean Methodist Church minister. He was also involved in Korean nationalist activities throughout his life.

This event is open to the UCLA community and the public. RSVP is required. Please click Register below for RSVP and registration.
