This workshop honors Professor John B. Duncan for his contributions to the Center for Korean Studies, the Department of Asian Languages and Cultures, and the Korean Studies program since joining UCLA in 1989. Professor Duncan has also served as chair of the Department of the Asian Languages and Cultures from 2005 to 2008 and the Director of the Center for Korean Studies from 2001 to 2014 (and Co‐Director until 2016).
