Deborah Magsaysay

Deborah Magsaysay is a fourth year International Development Studies major with a minor in Public Affairs. Her regional emphasis is on sub-Saharan Africa and Latin America. She has worked on the Student Organization Outreach Committee for Mighty Mic, a student-run non-profit group at UCLA. She gained development experience by participating in a public health campaign aimed at increasing HIV/AIDS awareness in rural Tanzanian communities and she interned at the U.S. Department of State with the Bureau of African Affairs in Washington, DC. After graduation, she plans on continuing her studies in international affairs.
