Josephine Murphy

Josephine Murphy is a first-year political science major hoping to minor in Russian studies and history. Her upbringing in New York City fueled her interest in politics from an early age. She is interested in both the Middle East and Russian geopolitics, due in part to her lineage in Kazakhstan. She hopes to eventually pursue an MA or MPhil in comparative politics or governance, as well as a JD, ultimately hoping to work in international law. In her free time, Josephine enjoys trying new restaurants, binging new sitcoms, and creating new playlists.
