Matthew Orihuela
Undergraduate Intern
Matthew is a third-year undergraduate student double majoring in Political Science and Economics. He is particularly interested in the climate crisis as it relates to political economy, sustainable development, and attempts at intergovernmental cooperation. Matthew currently serves in the USAC Facilities Commission, advocating for UCLA to become a more sustainable campus at both the administrative and individual levels. In his free time, he can be found running half marathons and baking. After graduating, Matthew plans to attend law school, and he is excited for the Burkle Center team to help inform his career path.
