Ilya Zaydenberg
Undergraduate Intern
Ilya is a Russian-born returning transfer Global Studies honors student in his final year at UCLA. Like most International Institute majors and minors, Ilya enjoys traveling -- and his interests range from coaching Russian for the Russian Flagship Program at the Center for World Languages, to scrolling through headlines of world affairs, to appearing in movies and on TV shows, to discussing Foucault. Having developed a love of history, anthropology, law and international politics at an early age, Ilya hopes to foster similar passions for these fields in his young son Ezra.
