Vanessa Young

Vanessa is a third year undergraduate student pursuing a double major in History and Global Studies. Her studies have deepened her interest in migration, inequality, economic history, and politics more broadly and as such, she has been active in student government and social justice causes on campus. She is also involved in the UCLA Pre-Law Society, serving as Managing Editor of the UCLA Undergraduate Law Journal, and works as a Resident Assistant. In the future, she hopes to attend law school and pursue a career in international law or public service. In her free time, she enjoys reading, meditating, running, visiting museums, and solving sudoku puzzles.
