Research and Multimedia on Medieval Japan

1) In groups of 3-4, students will use the internet to research aspects of Medieval Japan.  Use the Adobe Acrobat 4 file entitled MP Research , captured from the San Diego County Office of Education site, to help link to research sites online.  Students will need to be online in order to link from this file to other websites.

* Possible topics include, but are not limited to:
Entertainment
Culture
Traditions
Samurais
Weapons
Community
Government
Literature
Society
Geography
Clothing
Feudalism

2) Students will create a multimedia presentation (PowerPoint or Hyperstudio) to present to the class.

3) Multimedia presentation must include at least 6 cards and 2 pictures from the internet.  One card must be a title card and another must be a reference card, listing the references used to complete this project.

4) Students will be assessed according to the attached rubric for multimedia presentations.
