Take Global Studies courses in New York City! Registration is now open for UCLA Travel Study 2014.
GS 110A: Globalization in Context
GS 110B: Globalization in Context Research Seminar
"New York is the place where global policy is formed on issues ranging from terrorism to HIV prevention. This summer, you can explore the world’s most cosmopolitan city as you study the architecture of contemporary global governance and its premier international institution--the United Nations. Classroom sessions will be supplemented by visits to the UN and to the headquarters of major nongovernmental organizations. Students will come to understand how global conflict is managed and how the many forces of global society come together to influence policy decisions at the highest level."
Directed by UCLA Burkle Center Director and UCLA School of Law Professor, Kal Raustiala
