The Resource Center houses a comprehensive library dedicated to supporting and enriching the teaching of Italian language and culture at the K-16 levels in Southern California. The Resource Center provides interactive learning materials such as activity kits, audio tapes, music CDs, and VHS and DVDs, as well as textbooks, dictionaries and workbooks.
Thanks to a generous donation from the Office of Chinese Language Council International, UCLA CI now owns a large collection of materials related to Chinese language learning and Chinese culture. The library is housed on the UCLA campus and will be open to both campus and community users.
The UCLA Distance Learning Initiative for Less Commonly Taught Languages (DL for LCTLs) began actual operation in 2002-03.
