About the Guest Speaker
Dr. Dana El Kurd is an assistant professor at the University of Richmond and a senior nonresident fellow at the Arab Center Washington DC. She is the author of Polarized and Demobilized: Legacies of Authoritarianism in Palestine published with Oxford University Press in 2020. El Kurd's research focuses on resistance to authoritarianism in the Arab world.
