The Resource Center for the Teaching of Italian at UCLA is funded by the Consulate General of Italy in Los Angeles in collaboration with Fondazione Italia, a California non-profit organization. The Resource Center is housed in the UCLA Center for World Languages and offers a comprehensive library dedicated to supporting and enriching the teaching of the Italian language and culture at the K-16 levels. The Resource Center provides a wide selection of textbooks, workbooks, readers, grammar books, dictionaries, games, audio tapes, music CDs, as well as DVDs. The Center also serves as a base for continuing education seminars and workshops for teachers from elementary to AP Italian levels.
You must be registered with the Center to check out materials or to place a hold on them. Registration is free and items are shipped free of charge to eligible members. Eligible members are educators, teachers and graduate students of Italian residing in Southern California, Nevada, Arizona and New Mexico. Shipping charges apply to teachers residing in other states. If you are not registered, please e-mail the Italian Resource Center at email@example.com to request a Library Membership Application form.
