Working Group

African Political Economy

The co-conveners of the African Political economy group are Professor Edward Miguel, Department of Economics, UC Berkeley, and Professor Dan Posner, Department of Political Science, UCLA.

The Working Group in African Political Economy brings together a group of (primarily junior) political scientists and economists who combine extensive field research experience in Africa with training in modern political economy techniques. The group is administered by the CCGR and funded by UCLA's Globalization Research Center -- Africa.
