Khalid Seirafi is a second year Islamic Studies MA student. He focuses on Middle East politics, history, Islamic theology and political movements. Currently, he is doing research for Dr. Kantathi Suphamongkhon on the Muslim minority in Thailand, as well as US-China relations. He has a Bachelor's degree in Business Management from Loyola Marymount University and seeks to work in the field of international affairs and public policy relating to the Middle East region in Washington, D.C.
Khalid is an avid lover of Middle Eastern acoustic music and design, as well as Arabic calligraphy. He is also the host of a radio show at UCLAradio.com titled "Voices of the Middle East" which focuses on Middle East current affairs.
