Heritage Language Workshop, April 30 – May 1, 2005 at UCLA

The workshop is a continuation of the UC Summer 2002 Heritage Language Institute. We will share experiences in heritage teaching, hear talks by scholars of heritage education, and see projects in development for the creation of heritage materials. Finally, workshop participants will preview, discuss, and propose content for the on-line manual for UC language teachers, a work in progress.

The workshop is free and open to the public, but registration is required. The UC Consortium will fund up to three representatives from each UC campus. For details and registration information, see the workshop web site:
