UCLA Center for World Languages - Innovative web-based and technology resources for language learning.
Language Learning and Technology - A refereed journal for second and foreign language educators that provides downloadable information and articles.
The Open University - United Kingdom based university specializing in home-based and distance learning courses. Some courses are open only to EU member residents.
Traditional Language Study Programs
Baltic Studies Summer Insitute - BALSSI provides an opportunity for interested students and scholars to increase their knowledge and understanding of the languages, culture, and history of the Baltic States - Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania. BBALSSI is partially funded by a consortium of several American universities including the University of California-Los Angeles.
American Association of Teachers of Slavic and East European Languages - This page describes intensive programs in Slavic and East European languages as well as in the languages of the Republics of the former Soviet Union. The listings include those programs offered in U.S. (and some Canadian) colleges and universities as well as in programs abroad.

UC Consortium for Language, Learning and Teaching - The consortium is a system-wide (UC) initiative designed to make the most effective use of UC's vast linguistic resources and expertise. The consotium fosters collaboration among and across the language programs at the UC campuses with an eye to increasing student access to language study through a combination of the best classroom practices, technological enhancements, and EAP programs.
