Burkle Center Fellow Kantathi Suphamongkhon quoted in The Wall Street Journal on U.S. debt and the government shutdown

Excerpt from The Wall Street Journal article by Damian Paletta and Ian Talley:

“The Treasury Department's international-affairs division, which often handles some negotiations with foreign nations, has furloughed 90% of its staff because of the partial government shutdown.

‘Many countries are using different diplomatic levels and different avenues’ to communicate to the U.S., said Kantathi Suphamongkhon, a senior fellow at the University of California, Los Angeles's Burkle Center for International Relations."
