About the Video
This production of the Richard Nixon Presidential Library compiles White House-commissioned 16mm footage with the Super 8 films of the White House Staff (Haldeman, Chapin and Higby), films from the Naval Photographic Center Film Collection, and sound recordings from the White House Communications Agency Sound Recording Collection and the Haldeman Diaries (read by H.R. Haldeman). This video is intended for use as both a finding aid to the 16 hours of unedited footage and as an general introduction to the 1972 trip to China.
