Intern Duties

Each Intern is assigned a long-term project which corresponds to a specific position and is assigned in consultation with each intern. The final determination is made based on the needs of the Center. Long-term assignments are meant to ensure that interns are developing vital professional skills (samples of intern positions include event facilitator, research assistant, outreach coordinator, and multimedia assistant). Interns are also expected to assist with short-term projects and other daily needs of the Center, and are encouraged to attend Center events which present very good opportunities to network in the field.
