Undergraduate Conference

Each year UCLA’s Slavic Department hosts an undergraduate research conference, where students present on a variety of topics that have to do with Slavic and East or Central European studies. Students from all over the country attend the conference to present, most often from one of the other Russian Flagship universities in the United States. While the conference is open to any undergraduate student, Flagship students are highly encouraged to participate and many of them have.

Additionally, most UCLA Russian Flagship students decide to take on Russian as their second major and as part of the major requirements, students are asked to present their senior thesis during the conference.
