ANNOTATION

This is a report by Major Fukata regarding the sanitary conditions in Indonesia which are included in the Work Log by Setsuzō Kinbara, a high officer of the Medical Affairs Division of the Ministry of the Army. The report states, “As there are many venereal disease cases in the Bandung area, it is necessary that each village chief conducts a syphilis test for the local population and installs comfort stations.”
