Inspired by the memoir O Doce Veneno Do Escorpião (The Scorpion's Sweet Poison) by Raquel Pacheco, the film tells the story of a young girl who rebels against her upper-class family by moving out and becoming a call girl. She starts a blog about her racy exploits under the pen name “Bruna Surfistinha," attracts the attention of Brazilian media and television and becomes a national celebrity.
