U.S. Senator Barbara Boxer is seeking an Outreach Assistant in her Los Angeles regional office. Primary responsibilities will include data entry and file management along with other tasks involved in the management of an extensive outreach operation. Other responsibilities will include processing constituent feedback to outreach messages and assisting with routine office operations such as answering phones.
The successful applicant must have a positive attitude and a genuine desire to serve constituents. Strong computer literacy, time management skills, and the ability to work as part of a team are essential to this position.
The position is full-time, with a starting annual salary in the $27,500 range, plus excellent federal benefits. Senator Boxer’s Los Angeles office is located in downtown Los Angeles.
