Chinese in International Business, June 27 - July 29, 2009
Experience a dynamic summer in Shanghai studying Chinese Language and Culture for Business. These courses for both beginners and more advanced Chinese language speakers are designed to provide insights into 21st-century China’s business environments - its society, economy and culture.The readings, classroom discussions, and lectures all focus on China’s latest economic, political, and cultural developments. The courses promote a deeper understanding of China’s business climate, and help students to overcome linguistic, geographical, and cultural barriers to achieve higher communicative competence in business contexts.
No Chinese language background is required for curriculum I. Please note that intermediate to advanced Chinese language proficiency is required for curriculum II.
