UCLA proudly announces the Jorge Paulo Lemann Scholarship and Fellowship Fund, established to strengthen educational exchange between UCLA and Brazil. The fund will provide partial support to Brazilian students accepted for study at UCLA and to UCLA students participating in established programs of study in Brazil.
Brazilian students seeking undergraduate and graduate degrees at UCLA are eligible to apply for partial financial support from the Jorge Paulo Lemann Scholarship and Fellowship Fund. The Fund will pay a stipend of up to $15,000.00 to successful candidates selected by the Lemann Scholarship and Fellowship Committee. The support is intended to assist UCLA departments and programs in recruiting top Brazilian students who show promise in academic excellence and are in need of financial assistance. Scholarships are granted for one year, with the possibility of renewal for an additional year. Priority will be given to degree-seeking applicants who are not currently enrolled at UCLA.
The Fund will also provide a limited number of fellowships for UCLA students to study in Brazil and Brazilian students to study at UCLA as part of short-term, non-degree established programs. Award amounts will range from $2,000 to $4,000, depending upon length of study and financial need.
