The Beast: Riding the Rails and Dodging Narcos on the Migrant Trail by El Salvadoran journalist and author Óscar Martínez traces the routes thousands of Central American migrants take up through Mexico aboard the rusted-out freight trains known simply as La Bestia or the Beast, on their way to the United States.
Join immigrant rights leaders, experts, and community members on this important panel discussion about the issues impacting Central American immigrants in the U.S., those who get deported, and the efforts being made by immigrant rights advocates in the U.S.
