The explosive economic growth of the past decade has redrawn the relationships and economic alliances of the world’s industrial production powerhouses. Amidst the tumult, Korea should aim to set a course to create and sustain trust, engender constructive cooperation and establish true middle-power diplomacy in the region. This commitment to multinational regional partnership would help ensure stability and sustain economic expansion with new opportunities for innovation and shared prosperity.
Dr. Un-Chan Chung is currently serving as the Chairman of the Korea Institute for Shared Growth. He was the Prime Minister of South Korea between 2009 and 2010.
