Subir Chowdhury is a world authority in quality leadership, strategy and methods. Hailed by The New York Times as a ‘leading quality expert’, and by Business Week as ‘The Quality Prophet’, Mr. Chowdhury has worked with many organizations including Chrysler, Procter & Gamble, Ford, Kia Motors, Hyundai, and Samsung. He is the author of over a dozen books, including the international bestseller The Power of Six Sigma and The Ice Cream Maker.
Mr. Chowdhury has received numerous international awards for his leadership in quality management and his major contributions to various industries worldwide. He was named as one of the “50 Most Influential Management Thinkers in the World” by the Thinkers50, sponsored by Harvard Business Review and has been inducted into the Automotive Hall of Fame. He received an undergraduate degree in Aeronautical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, a graduate degree in Industrial Management from Central Michigan University and an honorary doctorate in engineering from the Michigan Technological University.
In this special lecture, Mr. Chowdhury will share what 'Quality' is with respect to process and people perspective. He will discuss real life examples from global multinationals from all types of industries including East Asia, Korea in particular.
