    Participated in the "European Politics" Travel-Study Program (Berlin, Prague, Vienna), the summer program at UCDC, and the Russian Flagship Program (both domestic and overseas). Presented project at University of California Undergraduate Conference of Slavic and East/Central European Studies. Worked as a research assistant in the Slavic Languages & Literatures Department and interned at a small non-profit.

    After UCLA

    Professional experience: Consultant at the World Bank (2008-2011), Technical Writer at Harvard Kennedy School (2013), Strategic Planning Coordinator at Tufts University's Fletcher School (2013-2014).

    Fondest Memory of UCLA

    Taking courses with the professors in the Russian department. They are genuinely dedicated to teaching and care about their students.

    Advice for Current International Institute IDP Students

    Focus less on classroom learning and more on learning out in the real world. Study abroad. Intern. Use college as a platform to explore interesting hands-on learning opportunities.
