The UCLA International Institute Office of Academic Advising in 10375 Bunche offers counseling for Undergraduates interested in majoring or minoring in the Global Studies Interdepartmental Program.

Note that Academic Counseling is available for UCLA students only. Other students (potential Transfer Students and first year applicants) may refer to the Admissions & Transfer Student Information link for information on UCLA requirements.
Counseling via e-mail:
Counseling is available via e-mail: undergraduate@international.ucla.edu. Be sure to include your name and UID# in the e-mail, and indicate whether your question pertains to the Global Studies Major or Minor.
Drop in Hours:
There are no drop in hours available for counseling. Please make an appointment (see below)!
Appointments:
In-person counseling can be arranged via appointment with Gaby Solomon, the Academic Counselor. You may request a counseling appointment with Gaby by sending her an e-mail. Please include the following in your e-mail request:
- Name and UID#
- Indicate Global Studies Major or Minor
- All available days & times for at least the next 2-4 days
Note that appointments are scheduled Monday-Friday, at 9:00, 9:30, 10:00, 10:30, 11:00am & 1:00, 1:30, 2:00, 2:30, 3:00, and 3:30pm.
E-mail Notification:
UCLA students interested in the Global Studies IDP can receive e-mail notifications regarding the major or minor, upcoming workshops, course information, enrollment updates, and other announcements pertaining to the International Institute and UCLA. To receive e-mail notifications, simply e-mail your request and you will be added to the Global Studies listserv.
