CSEAS supports the teaching of Filipino, Indonesian, Thai and Vietnamese at the beginning, intermediate and advanced levels, with exceptional attention to the needs of both heritage speakers and students with no previous exposure to these languages.
For adults who want to study Southeast Asian Languages in the Los Angeles area, the Beverly Hills Lingual Institute offers short courses in the evenings.

The Karayom at Sinulid journal is published by UC Berkeley's SSEAS 149 (Advanced Filipino Class) with assistance from the UCLA Center for Southeast Asian Studies and the UC Berkeley Center for Southeast Asian Studies.
